Ida is the creator of Powerslida! In 2023, she was on her way to the skatepark when she fell, broke two ribs, and couldn't skate for a month. This resulted in learning to crochet, in pure frustration. Ida made a strap for herself to carry her board with, and every time she brought it to the park, someone wanted to buy it. Thus, she made more and found herself with a small business. She started the Instagram @powerslida_, through which the business is growing with new customers, both in Barcelona and other parts of the world. The yarn is produced in Spain and bought from bazaars, and all the straps are made by Ida in cafés between sips of vermouth in Barcelona, where she lives.
